Case Discussion

The chronic inflammatory process and polyposis within paranasal sinuses can lead to osteoma formation due to chronic bone irritation. Atopy and cystic fibrosis (CF) are the leading causes of chronic rhinosinusitis and sinonasal polyposis. Biopsy was done and chronic and eosinophilic cell inflammatory changes were reported by the pathologist.
