Skeletal metastases - breast cancer

Presentation

History of left breast cancer and mastectomy.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

CT scan shows extensive lytic and sclerotic osseous lesions involves the lumbar spine and pelvic bones of the advanced breast cancer metastases.

Also, the pathological fracture of the L5 vertebra which shows a reduction in the height and posterior bulging into the canal is evident.

Case Discussion

The recent patient is a known case of breast cancer referred to us with a history of lumbar pain and inability to walk and CT scan shows sclerotic osseous metastases secondary to known breast cancer.
