Punch to head at pub. Fracture? Swollen right side of head.

Linear lucency attending across the right parietal bone towards the orbital rim.

Case Discussion

The vast majority of time CT head is now performed for head trauma.

Traditionally plain film was used - an example of a skull fracture well illustrated here.
