Cocaine overdose 2 days ago. Now presents with headache.

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Axial CT head (bone window)


No acute intracranial findings were demonstrated on this CT. A sclerotic lesion along the outer table of the skull (left occipital bone) was noted measuring 1.4 x 0.5 cm which most likely represents an osteoma.

Case Discussion

Osteomas are primary benign, usually asymptomatic bone lesions, often discovered incidentally.

Multiple osteomas are associated with Gardner syndrome.
