Presentation
Sudden severe epigastric pain with marked vomiting. Past history of laparoscopic gastric band (lap band) placement.

The lap band should sit just below the gastro-esophageal junction. It has slipped distally to the mid body where there is now gross obstruction to the proximal 1/2 of the stomach - note food debris and no gastrografin entering the distal gastric body. Balloon within the band still distended.
