Subluxation and separation of the proximal humeral epiphysis (Salter-Harris I) of the right shoulder is noted. The normal left side is provided for comparison.
Case Discussion
A slipped humeral epiphysis is a known complication of teenager baseball players who are pitchers. As a result there is a limit to the number of pitches they can make over a week. This lad exceeded this number by about 50%.
