Presentation

Diffuse swelling involving foot for few months.

Patient Data

Age: 18 years
Gender: Male

Rounded small calcific shadows over 2nd and 3rd metatarsal web spaces, representing phleboliths. External impression is seen on 2nd, 3rd, 4th metatarsals with widening of 2nd metatarsal space.

ultrasound

A soft tissue lesion at the 3rd metatarsal web space with internal vascularity that augments with compression. It shows multiple calcific foci on planter side representing phleboliths.

Findings are very much suggestive of slow flow vascular malformation of the foot.
