Repeated attacks of confusion and loss of consciousness observed since when 16 years-old, once with generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Patient Data

Age: 21
Gender: Female

Temporal pole asymmetry with elongation through discontinuity of meninges.

Conclusion: Small polar encephalocele of the left temporal lobe.

Case Discussion

This is a case of a less known cause of treatable pharmacoresistent temporal lobe epilepsy.
