Presentation

Incidental sonographic finding.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Small subcapsular fat-isointense lesion of the right kidney with suppressed signal on fat-saturated images, and probably a tiny central enhancing dot representing a vascular component.

Case Discussion

This could also represent a lipoma, however pure intrarenal lipomas are exceedingly rare.
