Fracture of the right frontal bone extending involving the anterior and posterior walls of the right frontal sinus with an associated underlying tiny extradural hemorrhage,. Tiny speck of air and overlying skin swelling and scalp hematoma. Minimal blood is also seen within the right frontal sinus.

Note the fracture of the right frontal bone with overlying skin thickening and scalp hematoma and underlying small amount of blood in the right frontal region. A tiny speck of air is also noted.
Case Discussion
This case highlights the importance of looking carefully at the post-traumatic brain CT scan which apparently looks normal. Always look at the site of scalp hematoma, skin thickening/swelling very carefully for subtle fractures and tiny hemorrhages.
