Well-encapsulated lobulated ovoid mass of the ventral aspect of the proximal phalanx of the ring finger encasing partially the flexor digitorum profundus tendon and displacing the proper palmar digital arteries and nerves. It displays a high signal on T1 and T2, attenuated on fat sat sequences with no enhancement seen on postcontrast sequences.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with soft tissue lipoma of the ventral aspect of the proximal phalanx of the ring finger.
