Case Discussion

The patient's age and the MRI features are suggestive of solid pseudopapillary tumors of the pancreas (Frantz tumor). In this case, the main differential diagnosis is GIST from the posterior gastric wall.

At surgery, the tumor was originating from the pancreas and the histopathological exam confirmed the diagnosis of solid pseudopapillary tumor (or Frantz tumor).
