Dense left pedicle of D12 vertebral body is noted.
Generalized osteopenia is noted.
Surgical staples are noted in right upper anterior abdomen - post laparoscopic cholecystectomy staples.
Case Discussion
Differentials for solitory dense pedicle includes
- Osteoblastic metastasis, osteoma, osteoblastoma, secondary to spondylosis, secondary to congenitally absent or hypoplastic contralateral pedicle / posterior elements.
Further work up by MR was suggested. Not available.
