B-mode ultrasound of cervical lymph nodes: non-enlarged cervical lymph node measuring
6 mm short axis, regular border, preserved hyperechoic hilum, hypoechoic parenchyma.
Color Doppler ultrasound: normal hilar vascularity.
Color elastogram of the same lymph node gives pattern 2 elastography score and a strain ratio of 1.25.
Case Discussion
Final histopathological diagnosis is chronic non-specific lymphadenitis.
