Case contributed by Frank Gaillard
Diagnosis certain

Presentation

Gradual lower limb symptoms.

Patient Data

Age: Adult

The cord demonstrate high T2 signal and demonstrates enlarged flow voids on the surface of the cord.

Up and over injection into left iliac system demonstrates an S1 radicular artery feeding a dAVF.

Case Discussion

Spinal dAVF arising in this case from the S1 radicular artery/conus artery, illustrating the point that the site of origin of the fistula can be at any level, remote from the flow voids and that extensive spinal angiography is often needed.
