Multiple enhancing lesions consistent with metastases are seen throughout the spinal cord and canal. The cord demonstrates extensive edema extending from T5 down to the conus. No evidence of hemorrhage within the cord. Numerous leptomeningeal nodules are seen on the surface of the cord and along the cauda equina, some of which are quite bulky but non-compressive. Despite this, no extrinsic cord compression. No convincing sizable bony metastases and, certainly none at encroach upon the spinal canal. Neural exit foramina are capacious. Right hilar mass noted.

Case Discussion

This patient had a known history of metastatic triple-negative breast cancer - BRCA1 mutation Clinical: Stage IV (cTX, cNX, pM1, G3, ER-, PR-, HER2-) The hilar mass is presumably metastatic also.
