Chronic back pain. Spinal cord stimulator pulse generator in situ.

Patient Data

Age: 55
Gender: Female

Spinal cord stimulator pulse generator projecting over right iliac bone.

Incidentally noted post screw fixation hardware piece left within left iliac bone. 

Case Discussion

Subcutaneous pulse generators are a component of the spinal cord stimulators placed in various places of the body. Radiologists should be familiar with the different locations of spinal cord stimulators implantable pulse generators. Pulse generator has a battery which is rechargeable via external wireless power charger. Patients have a remote control to control pulses frequency.
