Presentation

Two months lower limb heaviness and unsteady gait.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
mri

Left T7 dorsolateral intradural extramedullary contrast enhancing spinal tumor.

Severe compression of the cord displaced and compressed along the right anterolateral aspect of the spinal canal. No extension through the neural exit foramen.

Case Discussion

With the MRI signal characteristics demonstrated, the key differential diagnosis for this extramedullary intradural tumor is meningioma and neuroma.
