A well-defined oval intradural extramedullary lesion is seen at the level of L1-L2 of right lateral location. It appears of low signal on T1, high signal on T2 with a central cystic area and peripheral enhancement. The conus medullaris is compressed and displaced to the left with mild edema. No extension is seen through the adjacent foraminal recess.
Case Discussion
In such case, the main differential diagnosis is a myxopapillary ependymoma.
