Large well-circumscribed right pelvic mass of foraminal and extraforaminal location at L5-S1, displacing the ipsilateral psoas muscle and uterus. It displays an isosignal to muscles on T1, heterogeneous high signal on T2 and T2 fat sat with remodeling of the right neural foramen borders and the adjacent L5 vertebral body. The postcontrast sequences show a vivid heterogeneous enhancement.
Case Discussion
MRI features of a pelvic heterogeneously soft tissue mass of foraminal and extraforaminal location at L5-S1 level biopsy-proven schwannoma.
