L3/L4/L5/S1 anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) with zero-profile integrated interbody cage and screws are combined with spinous process clamps.
Case Discussion
Spinous process clamps are devices for posterior fixation by securing adjacent spinous processes, providing a degree of stabilization without pedicle screws or rods. They offer a minimally invasive alternative with smaller incisions and less tissue disruption. They are commonly combined with spinal fusion (e.g., ALIF, TLIF) or as part of motion preservation and interspinous distraction.
