An 85×70 mm mass with early peripheral nodular enhancement is present at the spleen that becomes isodense with surrounding parenchyma on delayed images.
The uterus is enlarged and contains several fibroids.
Case Discussion
The patient underwent splenectomy, and histopathology evaluation confirmed hemangioma, the most common primary benign neoplasm of the spleen. The imaging appearances are similar to hepatic hemangiomas.
