High grade splenic injury (grade IV) with areas of devasularlisation, active contrast extravasation and hemoperitoneum. The injury appeared isolated and the patient was relatively haemodynamically stable and therefore proceeded to interventional radiology for embolization.

Distal selective coil embolization of one actively bleeding vessel and another traumatically occluded vessel was performed prior to proximal splenic artery coil embolization (not shown).
Case Discussion
High grade actively bleeding splenic injury treated with combined distal (selective) embolization and proximal embolization.
