Splenic involvement in non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Case contributed by Dr Jeremy Jones

Being treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Non-acute, generalised abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Single image from the coronal reformat.

The spleen is massively enlarged and this is not balanced by hepatomegaly.

Case Discussion

Isolated splenomegaly of this magnitude in a patient with non-hodgkin lymphoma is most likely secondary to splenic involvement.
