Hypoattenuating lesions in the spleen with lymphadenopathy.

Case Discussion

Multifocal splenic hypoattenuating masses with lymphadenopathy in a 55 year-old patient with fevers and night sweats, compatible with lymphoma (pathology: non-Hodgkin lymphoma).

Lymphoma of the spleen on imaging may be seen as:

  • homogeneous enlargement (most common)
  • a solitary mass
  • multifocal lesions
  • diffuse infiltration
