Abdominal pain

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Erosion and destruction of the L4 inferior end plate and L5 superior endplate associated with multiple para-vertebral collections measuring 12x43x20mm (AP, TS and CC), right psoas measures 35x18x46mm (AP, TS and CC) and left psoas measuring 22X11X20mm (AP, TS and CC).

L5-S1 moderate narrowing of the spinal canal and bilateral neural exits on top of central disc protrusion.

Case Discussion

A patient with a long term history of abdominal pain and fever referred for abdominal CT. I

Imaging findings suggest L4-5 spondylodiskitis with pre-vertebral and bilateral para-vertebral collections.
