Erosion and destruction of the L4 inferior endplate and L5 superior endplate associated with multiple para-vertebral collections measuring 12 x 43 x 20 mm (AP, TS and CC), right psoas measures 35 x 18 x 46 mm (AP, TS and CC) and left psoas measuring 22 X 11 X 20 mm (AP, TS and CC).

L5-S1 moderate narrowing of the spinal canal and bilateral neural exits on top of central disc protrusion.

Case Discussion

A patient with a long term history of abdominal pain and fever referred for abdominal CT.

Imaging findings suggest L4-5 spondylodiscitis with prevertebral and bilateral paravertebral collections.
