Case Discussion

This patient was diagnosed with a post-surgery spondylodiscitis associated with local spinal/paraspinal abscess on the right of L4 level (previous scans not shown). The collection was drained and the patient has presented clinical improvement since then. The current MRI scan still demonstrates a diffuse paravertebral and psoas muscles edema, as well as the signs of spondylodiscitis.
