Spondylodiskitis with bilateral psoas abscesses

Paresis of lower limbs and severe pain blocking deambulation.

Patient Data

Age: 62
Gender: Male

MRI Lumbar spine

 L4-L5 segment diskitis associated with bilateral large psoas abscess.

Case Discussion

Spondylodiskitis is characterized by infection involving the intervertebral disc and adjacent vertebrae.

The abscesses were drained percutaneously guided by CT.
