Chronic low back pain.

Patient Data

Age: 25-30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L5 on S1. Chronic bilateral pars interarticularis defects. Mild loss of intervertebral disc space at L5/S1 with endplate bony spurring. 

Case Discussion

Spondlylolisthesis is secondary to pars interarticularis defects and is often associated with degenerative disc disease and facet joint degeneration. It is a common cause of low back pain, especially in young adults.
