Case Discussion

Spondylolysis is a defect in the pars interarticularis of the neural arch, the portion of the neural arch that connects the superior and inferior articular facets. As demonstrated in this case, the vast majority of these lesions occur at the L5 level (~90%) 1.

The association of spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis is common and occurs in more than 50% of the cases 1

This case represents an outpatient exam, and no further clinical information or clinical feedback were available.
