Presentation

Acute onset of sever chest pain and dyspnea without history of smoking or familial disease.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male

Subpleural bullae are seen at both lungs, accompanied by right sided pneumothorax.

Case Discussion

Regarding to the patient age and presentation features on CT scan are most consistent with spontaneous pneumothorax which refers a condition related to the rupture of subpleural blebs.  Chest pain and dyspnea are frequent symptoms.
