Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Enlarged liver with multiple rounded hypodense mild enhancing lesions. A hypodense lobulated mass on the gastric wall near the cardia is noted. Free abdominal fluid, with higher density near the liver (50HU).

Case Discussion

The patient presented with abdominal pain and anemia. CT showed a gastric tumor with multiple liver metastases and abdominal fluid, which revealed high density suggestive of acute bleeding. He underwent surgery, that confirmed the diagnosis and the ruptured liver metastasis was sutured.
