Squamous cell cancer of the nasofacial angle

Presentation

Growing, painful skin lesion of the left nasofacial angle, first noticed two months earlier. Upon physical examination a painful lump is noted in the left nasal cavity.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Inhomogeneous, about 22 mm greatest diameter, enhancing lesion of the left nasofacial angle, which bulges into the nasal cavity. Few submandibular lymph nodes bilaterally, one with a SAD of 8 mm on the left, referred for US-guided sampling. 

Case Discussion

Path proven squamous cell cancer. 

The submandibular lymph nodes were also biopsied, cytology showed normal morphology.
