Squamous cell carcinoma of the paranasal sinus

Presentation

The patient complained of frontal headaches, diplopia. There was a mass at the upper inner quadrant of his right orbit.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

CT showed an infiltrating soft tissue mass with moderate enhancement within the right frontal sinus and ethmoid cells. There were extensive bony destructions of the medial orbital wall, the anterior wall of the frontal sinus and the ethmoid cell walls.

Biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma involving paranasal sinuses.
