Right upper lobe collapse with volume loss and cavity formation.
Case Discussion
Increased right upper lobe opacification on the chest radiograph subsequently confirmed on the CT. Collapse with volume loss and interspersed areas of cavitation, particularly at the apex.
Bronchoscopy and washings confirmed an infective etiology: Staph. aureus.
