Abscesses adjacent to the staple line with no contrast material leak.
Large splenic abscess.
Left-sided pleural effusion and the passive collapse of the left lower lobe.
Cholecystectomy.
Case Discussion
Localized fluid collection or abscess may be the only sign of a leak on CT scans and extravasation of the oral contrast materials is rarely seen in the case of a small leak.
