Case Discussion
This is a common finding, seen frequently in newborns caused by deposition of Tamm-Horsfall proteins in the renal tubules. The condition is self-limited and may or may not be associated with oliguria (i.e. could be incidental finding) and should not be mistaken for nephrocalcinosis.
