Presentation

A patient known to have right renal staghorn calculus, underwent ESWL. Now severe renal colic.

Multiple right renal calculi are noted, with multiple small calculi aligned in the lower right ureter.

Case Discussion

Steinstrasse (German for 'stone street'), refers to multiple small ureteric stones, seen aligned in the right ureter, that occur as a complication of ESWL.
