Presentation

Left thigh pain

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Horizontal linear hypointensity is seen in neck of left femur, oriented perpendicular to the inferior cortex with surrounding marrow edema.
Note is made of hemorrhagic cyst in left adnexa.
Minimal free fluid seen in pouch of Douglas.

CT scout image shows linear horizontal defect in neck of left femur oriented perpendicular to the inferior cortex.

Artifacts are noted.
