Presentation

Pain in left hip.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male

Marrow edema along left ischiopubic synchondrosis with mild associated soft tissue edema.

Mild hyperintensity is seen in left quadratus femoris and rectus femoris muscles.

Case Discussion

Marrow edema along left ischiopubic synchondrosis with mild associated soft tissue edema suggesting ischiopubic synchondrosis stress reaction.

Mild hyperintensity in left quadratus femoris and rectus femoris muscles suggesting grade I strain.
