Fluoroscopy

The hysterosalpingography images show that the endometrial cavity is displaced towards the right side and the left Fallopian tube is stretched around a large lesion.

The ultrasonography images revealed the effect was due to a left adnexal cyst measuring 5 x 4.5 cm in size.

Case Discussion

Adnexal cysts can be considered as lesions causing extrinsic compression over the endometrial canal as well as the Fallopian tube.
