Subarachnoid and intraventricular hemorrhage

Case contributed by Maxime St-Amant
Diagnosis certain

NECT shows hemorrhage in the fourth ventricle and subarachnoid hemorrhage in the posterior fossa. Cerebral arterial angio-CT is recommended to exclude an aneurysm.

Angio-CT confirms the presence of a left PICA aneurysm. Moreover, there is an arteriovenous malformation in the inferior left occipital lobe with a further aneursym-like dilation.
