Large 10 mm aneurysm arising from the right A1 and ACOM junction. Daughter aneurysm arising from its left lateral aspect.
Case Discussion
The pattern of subarachnoid haemorrhage is patient suggests that this is a centrally located anterior circulation aneurysm, which CTA confirms. The patient proceeded to angio-embolisation with coiling resulting in a good angiographic result.
ACOM aneurysms most often arise from the junction of ACOM and the dominant A1 segment.
