Presentation

Fall onto right hip. Pain and limited movement.

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Subtle impacted subcapital fracture of the right femur. Although Shenton's line is maintained, there is irregularity of the femoral neck with cortical disruption. No other pelvic injury. Normal left hip.
