Subclavian steal syndrome

Presentation

Known medical illness of hypertension and diabetes with multiple episodes of transient ischemic attacks.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Carotid Duplex Ultrasound shows retrograde direction of the left vertebral artery flow as compared to the ante grade direction of both left CCA and right vertebral artery , the left vertebral artery spectral wave doppler is seen below the baseline as compared to both left CCA and right vertebral artery which are seen above the base line
