Presentation
Left lateral orbital mass.
Patient Data
Left superolateral/ epibulbar region fat density lesion, posterior to the attachment of the rectus lateral muscle, medial to the lacrimal gland, and continuous with intraconal fat.
The criteria of continuity with intraconal fat suggest subconjunctival fat prolapse.

Case Discussion
It is important to differentiate between subconjunctival fat prolapse and dermolipoma since they have different treatments.
Similarities: both present as fatty mass at the superior-temporal epibulbar area.
Differences:
- Subconjunctival fat prolapse: continuous with intraconal fat, male predominance.
- Dermolipoma: no connection with intraconal fat, often crescent-shaped, female predominance.
