Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Fall from bike - 3 days. Pain at groin region . Swelling in proximal - lateral thigh. O/E : - Tenderness in ramus - ? Fracture. - Ecchymosis - proximal - lateral thigh. Referred for radiograph for hip bone and ultrasound for thigh hematoma.

Age: about 20 yrs
Gender: Female

Radiograph - Suspicious cortical breach in right superior pubic ramus.

US : Echogenic subcutaneous fat is noted in the region of ecchymosis with few fluid clefts. No large collection seen.

A definite cortical breach is noted in superior pubic ramus with anterior focal fluid / hematoma.
