Breathlessness. Outcome after double cardiac arrest.

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

This case shows a subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator, with correct position of the electrode subcutaneously, superficial to the pleural cavity and outside of the rib cage, in a parasternal left location. 

Case Discussion

The totally subcutaneous implantable defibrillator (S‐ICD) has been introduced as a new alternative to the conventional transvenous defibrillator system.
