Subcutaneous lipoma of neck

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Neck swelling in left submandibular region for 3-4 years. No pain. Gradually increasing in size.

Patient Data

Age: about 30 yrs.
Gender: Male
ultrasound

A well-defined lesion is seen in region of interest at the left submental-submandibular region.
It is superficial to the platysma muscle. 

Margin        - well-defined     
Size           - approximately 42 x 34 x 15 mm
                  
Morphology    - isoechoic to adjacent subcutanoeus fat
                     - linear incomplete internal striations present 
                     - no calcifications or cystic changes.
                     - compressible.
        
Doppler           - no flow signals
