Bilateral subdural hemorrhages, with heterogeneous density, in keeping with acute on chronic hemorrhage. Minimal mass effect.
Case Discussion
This elderly patient has advanced dementia and frequent falls. He is not anticoagulated. He obtained a trauma CT due to unwitnessed fall and fracture of his hip.
One can appreciate bilateral parietal lesions with areas of hyperdensity and isodensity to the nearby cerebral cortex.
As the patient was asymptomatic of his lesions, they were managed nonoperatively.
